Fit-out of the Year
Today, the Insider North West Property Awards has revealed its shortlist for this year’s ceremony.
Taking place on July 1 at Manchester Central, the Awards showcases the commercial property sector’s achievements over the past year.
Onward has been shortlisted for ‘Fit-out of the Year’ for our new Liverpool office situated in The Watson Building, designed and developed with 5plus Architects and Brown & Bancroft Interiors.

The building is an existing office, providing 75,000 sqft of accommodation over eight levels.
In 2019, we announced our decision to relocate our Liverpool presence there, taking 20,000 sqft of floorspace over two floors.
5plus was appointed to develop proposals with the aim to produce a high quality internal fit-out which met our aspirations and commercial requirements.
A key driver within the brief was to provide a flexible open workspace facilitating transformational change.
The final scheme accommodates approximately 170 workstations, based on an average desk sharing ratio of 80%. These workspaces include a number of flexible work settings to enable an agile working environment.
In addition to workspace, the office houses a reception, customer area, meeting suites, print hubs, IT support areas, storage, kitchens, showers and welfare facilities.
